If you would please go back and re-read my post, you will see that I am NOT accusing GG of pump-and-dump.

My point, to the extent that I can distill it down, is that not all of Gilder's "picks" turned out to be great investments, and some of the ones that did took years to get there.

GOPBabe - I would like to add that the speed of new developments is unprecedented. And these are developments which lead to product - unlike, say, biotech where there have been now decades of rapid development with little product to show for it. In such an environment much change in an ideal portfolio should be expected and welcomed.

By the way - maybe the way conservatives react to rapid tech change explains why they tend to have money.
