"Jermoluk resigns and hardly any discussion here. I guess he was always Dead Man Talking as far as this message board is concerned."

Hi Doc- Yep...it was long ago predicted by this thread. I believe Ah was possibly the first to voice Jermo's fall from the ATHM throne. I didn't see the writing on the wall until Jermo stepped down as CEO some months ago. Now, relinquishing Chairman duties to Bell takes Jermo 99% out of the picture.

I would guess that Armstrong is closely watching Bell's performance as top dog. He'd better perform. Subs and revenues are one thing. Shareholders don't deserve what this stock has done to them. Management has clearly not communicated with the Street on its vision. That needs to change. That earning's miss was a real blow to me. I didn't expect it. I didn't appreciate being blindsided, especially after the past year. Remember Jermo saying things were looking great some time ago?

The value of ATHM is getting closer to zero all the time. It sure as heck is not MY fault.

Ed

Hi, guys

Today I saw the news that TJ is out. Good for him and everybody else. I remember that early on this thread people were concerned about TJ as a leader. Guess what? He didn't surprise us at all - a truly worthless piece. Birds with same feathers flock together, remember the news about him dumping $25 million worth of ATHM while people busy fighting the openNET? He never hesitated in cashing in his shares once, fine, but does he deserve it? Remember the news he that he boarded Jim Clark's yacht for some "business" chat? Yeah, Jim Clark! Did you read his book? A great book but there is some puzzle need to be solved after your finished it... Something missing... Huh, until he had a interview with CNN inside his millions $ mansion, and I quote his exactly... "I have no interest in running a business" (which means he has his GREATE IDEAS contributed to his great success!) Yup, puzzle solved all at once. Just trace back to the Silicon Graphics era on these two guys. Do I need to say more? Netscape, Healtheon... the list goes on - all great ideas. And where are SmartPipes, Kibu, MyCFO, and Shutterfly coming from while ATHM is struggling? Just watched The Shawshank Redemption last night... "Hope is a dangerous thing here"... In WallStreet, great ideas lead to more disasters than prisoners' hope.

I wasn't in their league even once, so my judgment on both of them could be miles off. But I do know that this country have Bill Gates with Microsoft forever, and Steve Young of 49ers refuse to cash in his million $ paycheck if he didn't actually throw the football. See the difference? Do people really think the software price will drop if Gates quit all the corporate USA games all of a sudden? Folks, we don't forget about great people, but we should not forget about garbage bags either - just in case you run into them again.
