why did dell and the nasdaq fall at the very end of the day?
Is it very significant?
lately, on down days, the nasdaq picks up the last half hour. today it started its recovery a little early, but then slid back and gave back some of its recovery near the end of the trading day.
i am not a technician. i have been short based on pe ratios, an obvious extreme bubble, history, logic.
but a technician might be able to explain if today's action might mean the buy the dip forces are weakening- educated responses would be much appreciated-as i have been so badly bruised i have taken to posting more when dell is down 2, then when it is up 2

Leigh,
Hi!!

RE: news.cnet.com

re: Dell forecasts that global e-commerce transactions will reach $2.5 trillion in 2003--a 100 percent compounded growth rate from 2000 levels. The number of people using the Internet for transactions will double to 500 million in 2003 and will top 1 billion by 2010. Meanwhile, businesses worldwide are expected to spend $370 billion on Internet infrastructure in 2003.

Wonderful link Leigh....DELL management has boasted to their employees that never before have they been any better positioned .....It's old hat now but Tom Meredith's comments to me loom bigger and bigger all the time...Not a day goes by that I don't think of how those words affected my research in looking for ways DELL will be choosing to find those lucrative revenue growth areas... $370 billion on internet infrastructure in 2003 is a lot of potential for DELL to go after...
"what most folks haven't figured out is DELL is just getting started in here"...tm 7/99

BUY DELL

Best, Kemble
