Greenberg's column continues to be rhetorical at best:

He has said that the short sellers he depends on for their "excellent DD" don't see any value in Ancor, when in fact one of the existing and profitable FC companies finds it valuable. So much for their weak argument. The problem with his information of course is that it is not based on the actual merit of the company - it is based solely on the trading dynamics of the stock. Trading dynamics that can be affected by hedge funds and short sellers, which coincidentally he uses for his research. It is also based solely on the opinions of people who don't know anything about technology. This argument has no merit. His comments about Intel's investment also lack merit.

If he is suggesting that the short sellers he talks with will start shorting QLGC - that could get interesting. Maybe Herb can tell us all why this may not be a good idea? Maybe Herb can tell us why the Learning Company and Mattel really aren't like Ancor and QLogic? I won't hold my breath waiting for the answers.
