Matsushita will launch the Panasonic SV-SD70 and SV-SD01 audio players on June 30 and July 10, producing 3,000 of each per month, before putting them on sale in Europe and the United States in July or August, a company spokesman said. It will also introduce SD Memory Card-compatible desktop personal computers and e-mail terminals in July or August. Matsushita will start selling 64 megabyte (MB) and 32 MB SD Memory Cards on June 30, producing up to 100,000 of each a month, and plans to launch 256 MB cards in the year starting April 2001, the spokesman said.
