Well.. in a head to head competitive benchmark, Wildfire is 60% faster than the much vaunted S80: ideasinternational.com ... Those are 731 MHz .25 micron 21264s... much faster CPUs showing up someday.. :-( But just as importantly, a big push on the follow-on server aka Marvel with several hundred CPUs and a Terabyte of main memory (btw, the server in the above URL will hold 256 GByte RAM come October when denser boards ship, 128 GByte FRS) is taking place even as we breath. Don't get me wrong, the S80 is a decent server but you will see high-end benchmarks (other than the one listed) come Tuesday . . . stay tuned. Rob
