Rande....the summer bear bared his teeth to me when I read the Sunday business section of the Washington Post. Three or four stories, all negative about the stock market. All I could say after reading was "Sheesh...." Bear tried to fool me today by elevating two of my holds, PFE and GBLX. But "I'm too smart to be fooled".... bear is stalking.......that might be good, because when everyone is talking bearish, that's supposed to be a good sign. But no one tells us how long we have to put UP with the bear. Do YOU know how long we will have to put up with The Bear? :)

For those who missed this post from last night on Summer Bear. . . Message 13637375 Today was one effective headfake. . . and it caught many more momentum players. . as the Dow steamed ahead along with the Naz, then the Naz quickly took a nose dive. . . and has still not found a bottom. . . I had to jump out of several volatile issues. . . like CIEN, AETH, etc. Watch for signs of REALLY low volume of selling. . .at that point, shorts must start to cover. . . however, many traders are "accepting" of afternoon anemia in volume. So Bears are getting more courageous and holding through the low volume. . . what we need is one big bullish news item to hit mid-afternoon. . . and catch everyone by surprise.
