ADIC and NTAP are both involved with Network Attached Storage (NAS). As are many others. It is a very complex and diverse area and is now widly accepted and used. NTAP is strong in this. Here is just one press release that gives the idea; biz.yahoo.com And for ADIC, they are strong in Storage Area Network (SAN's), though they are now making some of their appliances adaptible to NAS from what I know, which is very limited. Remember this company press release of April, it shows their attempt at this with their 'StorNext' attachtment for NAS: adic.com Puna
