Robert, when you buy a stock, you are also buying their accounting methods. Just ask the MSTR longs!! Cisco is running away from their problems by acquiring, and that can only go on so long, as the tyco shareholders found out. But I guess the dream dies hard, so keep on following it. Ever heard of the following; SCMR? JNPR? ONI? um, well um, Nortel? um how about redback or copper mtn? Many others who are private have been hitting at CISCO's marketspace for some time now. I don't think CISCo's die-hard believers really understand what the future means for cisco- how difficult it is going be going foward to be a CISCo shareholder, compared to the fantastic 1990's, which is the one and only reference period.
