I ran some numbers on the 200+ stocks they listed. Statistically, the ones that were projected to run out of cash sooner were down more than the ones that were projected to run out of cash later. Who cares about any one name. Obviously a simple minded calculation like the one they did is not going to be right on a specific name. But the proposition stands as a generalization. Dot coms with high burns rates relative to the cash on hand were relatively overvalued compared to those with lower burn rates and more cash.
