This gold stock signal -- while positive -- is nothing like "George Cole heaven". That only occurs when the stock prices jumps sharply when the underlying commodity declines. Furthermore, it must be more than a one day or one hour affair.

What we saw yesterday was that gold stocks did cut their losses some the last hour. But most were still down. And so far it has been just a one hour affair.

In comparing oil and gold, let me say that oil is a piece of cake compared with the yellow dog.
