RM,
Bull/bear, what's in a name. It's all about making $. I lost a lot by holding QCOM too long this year, so I shorted it at $120 last week (May 120 puts) when the Nokia rumor hit the wires. My problem is that I'm a weenie on the short side and covered too soon. Anyway, it was fun to make a few $ going the other way.

Au contraire, I think we ought to have some serious discussion of options strategies to use in a flat or downtrending market, so that we feel energized rather than bummed by the market.

We'll discuss tomorrow--but we can focus on cc strategies and buying puts. Or even shorting. Poet and I will announce it tomorrow and maybe start by suggesting some plays, strikes, stocks, and open it up for discussion.
