. But depending on how you look at the chart, it is still trading above its DOWNTRENDLINE, the ADX is soaring which is unusual on a downtrend, and the two parallel lines forming that last trendline channel was just broken to the downside so its still pretty hazy picture

Thanks for Nasdaq chart. This is the way I have been looking at it. And it does have some positive signs, by coming back to the trendline(May 3rd) and bouncing off.
Hazy it is. So in a haze we will trade, the winners.

The comment about the ADX soaring is interesting because the TRIN has been nicely .65 to .5 the last two days(Friday/Monday)while the TICK and $COMP look weaker.
Oh well, let the games begin(or continue). Thanks again for all your help.

Roger

VRTX marketgems.com mentioned on the thread and a new earnings play did nicely .. PMTC.. does look good and barring any profit taking the long term forecast looks profitable. PROX which was a watch list drop out from today looks okay and NPNT probably would have been up even more if the 'backdrop' to its news was more positive.

Picking out the 'winners' from a nasdaq where so many are down is not that easy. ADRX was up but I was already in, VRTX I never made it 'cause I was out most of the day. Hoping that however having the chart up beforehand might have helped a bit more. Message 13583129
