All,

I'm off to NetworkWorld+Interop tomorrow and Wednesday. Have a great two days! If I find any RMBS related stuff, I'll post it on Thursday.

Dave

Dave,

Or maybe, as AMD implies in their press release, it's not going to be very stable and not all products may work together.

I must have missed it. Is this statement recent? Do you have a link to it? Is it one of those 10Qs that usually say that everything a company is doing may end up not working to that they are more immune to shareholder lawsuits?

I think you have a lot more to worry about than prices, if AMD's press release is any indication.

I don't own stocks in any memory maker, or Rambus, so I have no financial interest in the outcome. The only thing that would negatively impact my holdings in AMD is if RMBS becomes competitive in the mainstream market and if AMD doesn't have a RDRAM based board.

My assumption is that RDRAM will succeed as main memory in PCs only if it becomes price competitive. That's why my question is: Is your opinion that RDRAM will become price competitive in 6-8 months?

My question is not about RMBS stock. The stock may do well even if RDRAM remains a niche product.

Joe
