If you have a pilot in your hot water tank.....you're not all electric.....and where does this exhaust.....an open window and an attic fan can bring these fumes right back into your home..an electric dryer can back draft a hot water tank since it pushes a large quantity of air out of your home creating a suction that may be satisfied by the heater vent.
