Carl, <The CPU play of the next 12 months is short INTC, long AMD in my guess, and this is due to the rambus problem.>

You're reaching again:

1) No one would ever go short on a stock for 12 months. Anyone who went short INTC back when you suggested it should have covered after the Camino fiasco. But hey, I don't remember you telling anyone when to cover their INTC shorts. So assuming they followed your advice and stayed short, they'd now be in the red big time.

2) AMD's success is more due to their excellent execution on Athlon, and that had nothing to do with Intel/Rambus. Sure, Intel kept the door wide open with the Camino troubles and the Coppermine shortages. But AMD had a long history of screwing up. That was why their stock was in the teens for so long. Face it, had AMD screwed up with Athlon like they did with K5 and K6, INTC stock would have outperformed AMD, regardless of Rambus.
