Just two points - I don't do bubblevision; I am looking for insight into a market situation that no one seems to have a satisfactory explanation for yet.

And I don't find a 3-day timeframe tells me much about any security or index. I have run charts of BEARX over the past year or two and don't find it very useful at all compared to other ways to short or to hedge a long portfolio.

Speaking of fundamentals - average corporate profits up 26% over last year don't sound bad to me. Valuations may still wander around for weeks or months. But I won't fully "buy" the bear argument until I see the economy sink below a soft landing scenario.
