Al Gore is not spoon fed By all accounts Al Gore is very knowledgeable about the fields of government. He is particularly adept at technology and the economy. The wrong man could easily blow America's lead in the new economy through isolation and a shift of priorities (Bush is getting a lot of Texas support from the oil industry who would like nothing better than to slow or stop the trend of communications replacing transportation). The little RNC group that controls Bush also has strong ties to the old economy and is interested in maintaining their perks as long as possible, regardless of what is best for the nation as a whole.
