Point taken. However It all boils down to your time horizon.I can understand protecting a part of your capital in the form of a fixed deposit, bonds and cash. However if you do not need access to a portion of that cash in the next year or two,Qcom at these levels will return a minimum double bear or bull market .Their PE will be considerably lower come July when they report and given growth accelerating going forward,I will go as far as saying its cheap at these levels.

I fully understand the selling in the DOTCOMs and some other techs that were at PE of 300 and up.I just don't put qcom in that group.

"stuck in the mud" There is a very good chance that by the end of May, Q market price will catch up with the good news. And earnings will look nice for June quarter.

Well MM, I guess it is just a matter of perspective. It may come shocking to some, but I could care less if we are in a bear market. Not a concern of mine. I can't predict, nor understand it. All I care about is how my company is doing...that may help you understand why I have little interest in hand wringing dead money, bear growls, and the like...even though some here don't want to accept that...LOL!
