Thats ok, because I am trading....

I am keeping my core positions....which is about 20-25% of my portfolio and trading with the rest....so, whatever happens is fine!

I'm sitting on my hands raising cash, waiting till the end of the year. I can't seeing anything, other then a slow down in the economy, that will begin the process that will lead to a new bull emerging. Investors that are walking around now thinking that this is just a rest stop in the on going bull market are in denial we are in a bear market now, all rallies should viewed as bull traps, unless you are trading that is.

Greg, The way I see it----I agree with rally late year. However, the problem is whether the mutual funds and retail investors will wait that long to get back in. Just as the market tanked earlier than usual, the rally may also come earlier. Those waiting for late fall may miss the boat. People don't want to miss the boat and that is why it could rally a lot earlier.

It will be increasingly difficult to time the market on a short term basis. IMHO, looking out 6 months, one has to pick their their favorites while the market is weak (as it is now).

Of course, trading is a little different. I am now playing a bounce to about Naz 3800 to 3900 in the coming 2 weeks.

good luck

Thanks for that upbeat report. Actually, as long as we are not in a prolonged bear market, I'm ok with that. Do you see us hitting our old highs later this year?
