Dell ... buy everything Samsung could produce. Now, if true, shouldn't Samsung be licking its chops and producing as much of this high-margin product as possible?,

If NOT true, SDRAM will be greater than 90% of DRAM marketplace for the foreseeable future. My only piece of "information" I can add is that volumes of Compaq Workstations are not flying out of Ingram Micro's warehouse. We are talking about maximum of 1000 systems per month and not much more in terms of RIMMs.

I have never seen Intel juggle their processor lineup of prices, products and performance levels so much to counter AMD recent inroads. Intel's forecasts have become very wishy washy regarding how much RDRAM vs SDRAM/DDR is going to be out there in next 12 months. I think that is reflected in RMBS stock price on top of overall weak market conditions.
