Amazing Grace has got to be the most beautiful song every written. I could listen to it forever. To hear jazzed up versions of it drives me crazy. I have a tape of a program on Public TV about the song. Its history (which is very moving and dramatic), groups in different parts of the country and how they sing the song. If they run that program again, nobody should miss it, and please let me know. I taped part of the last one, when I realized what a wonderful thing I was seeing, but I'd like to tape the whole program.
