John,

I agree with you about the charts, I see the same pattern on all the "usual suspects" like JDSU, QCOM, even CSCO. After the big sell off, it looks like at least 3 failed rally attempts, each one lower than the previous. <edit> I just looked at a few of the former high flyers like NTAP, JDSU, AMCC,EXDS and I even threw in LSI off the NYSE, and it appears that the 50 DMA is RESISTANCE. What is your opinion if these stocks are unable to breakout above the 50 DMA? A hard crash or more slow bleed?

CSCO's forward looking statements and the markets reaction will clinch it for me.

We hit the NASD 200 DMA at 3580, we could rally from this
level... if we don't it could mean very bad things.
This is a scary market, the lack of volume and the erosion in prices.


Does anyone else get the feeling that the "big boys" or "big money" which ever you want to call it is just sitting and waiting on the market to crash before they start buying?
