Bretsky, Thanks for the heads-up! Trading at a PE of 37 (2001 earnings est) and 47 (actual & forecast 2000) is not unreasonable for this ASP play. I see no extraordinary items on the P&L that would skew the PE figures. Added to my watch list, please post if you jump in, will do the same, thanks again

Re: CTXS--Is there a tornado?

Discussion here last week wondered if CTXS would ever see a tornado. Here's an uninformed question for anyone: As time passes, is CTXS's approach to handling the thin client issue being hemmed in by more specific approaches? For instance, CTXS seems to be a non-player in the wireless internet area, vis-a-vis WAP and others. Similarly, in non-wireless applications, is the spread of less expensive machines with pretty big hard drives and RAM making the very thin client less needed?

My point is that CTXS doesn't seem to be a G&K play at this point. And as time continues, a tornado becomes less and less likely. It seems to be similar to WIND. Good companies, good managements, but niches.

All of the above posited with absolutely no investigation of CTXS. Just thinking out loud.

OT to Mike, re "holes"-- groan! :o)

Best,
JS
