She didn't work for the newspaper. She was an English teacher- she proof read it for...fun. So it was no slight to her. I see how you might have thought she worked for the newspaper. That interpretation did not occur to me. She proof reads books that she is reading for entertainment. She proof reads EVERYTHING. The woman is amazing. Had my vanity taken a literary turn she would have proved invaluable- if I could have gotten her to work for me. However, she usually told me I would learn more if I figured it out for myself. How WRONG she was about that. I forget everything whether I learn it myself or someone tells it to me.
