Cynthia, having been "recruited" by marriage, twice, would be a long shot for a 50th, imo. However, with 8 years behind us, SJ and I sound somewhat like the couple in the article (without the vocabulary!), and I don't anticipate a separation anytime soon. One of the things which struck me from the article was what constitutes "5 seconds longer" than an argument should last? SJ and I have had some humdingers, and time together doesn't seem to have made much of a difference. I could relate to the "you really don't listen to me" part. I wish the guy would have said something to the effect of, "because when I said I heard ya doesn't mean you need to keep telling me!!". Rather be with her than without her, though (most of the time <g>).
