yeah, i agree that tha naz was overvalued. ive been trading this market for 10 years, and we always get ahead of ourselves in the 1st quarter of the year -that sets us up for the summer sell-off, but it keeps getting earlier. as for barrons im sure they brought out barton wien "the whiner " from morgan stanley to shout from the rooftops- "the sky should be falling!" what a bunch of whiners! god forbid the small investor should be able to get a 20% return without their advice.

Hmm. Does that mean that they were right but slightly early or that they were right but you resent it anyway? Just smiling, since I too have had a hostile attitude towards Barron's persistent editorial pessimism. Or at least I did until I went to 100% cash about three weeks ago.

I'm afraid that whatever else is said in Barrons or elsewhere about individual stocks, over the remainder of the summer Mr. Greenspan is going to keep tightening with his wratchet wrench until we're all singing soprano. I think that as a totem of this NASDAQ advance Cisco won't be safe until valuations are generally reduced consistent with Mr. Greenspan's plan for universal harmony.
