Sam,

I prefer to trade on 10 minute candles. I've tried the ASK Research RT feed, but their feed was too eratic to be trusted and I dropped them.

I have to tell you that I'm very impressed with Medved's Quote Tracker, except for the fact that it does not provide continuity from yesterday into today. That makes QT's 10 minute chart of no value until well into the trading day.

This morning, early, I was watching 1 minute bars with QT. I don't like to trade off them as they're just too noisy. As soon as I could, I switched to 3 minute bars and took a signal to short LCOS at 50.75. That was the first time I've traded off a 3 minute bar and frankly feel lucky that it worked.

I'm seriously considering going to RT with Quote.com as it seem to be the least "glitchy". I may try IQC once more first.

Back to my charts. I put Bollinger Bands on price most times, but not with QT. In the lower pane all I run is OBV. But, as I've said here in earlier posts, I don't interpret it the way most do.
