Hardly facile. At 12, AAPL was trading at an impossible PE (so was ASPT at 6). Both companies were "taking it on the chin" and in bad shape revenue-wise. Both, however, had solid management, and solid products rolling out. Same as CNXT.
Remember, stocks climb a "wall of worry". Bulls tend to be right more often than bears. Thing is, bears like to crow when their time comes....which isn't that frequent. They are like the broken watch...right twice a day. So, some people lose a bit when the bears are right....but the bulls eventually win over the long term.
