St. Mary's Entertainment Center reports record results VANCOUVER, May 10 /CNW/ - Border Capital Corp. (CDNX:BOP)(``Border'' or the ``Company'') is very pleased to announce that the St. Mary's Entertainment Center gaming facility in Fredericton, N.B. has reported record one day and one week attendance and sales figures in the first week of May. Attendance for the week ending May 7, 2000 was a record 3,103 with total revenues of $220,000. Attendance at the Bingo Madness event held Sunday, May 7 reached a near capacity 1,399. Figures reported for the four months ended April 30, 2000 show continued remarkable improvements in results over previous years, including a gross profit exceeding $600,000 for the period. Border would like to commend Walter Brooks, general manager of the St. Mary's facility, and his staff for achieving these record results. Since taking over the management of the facility in early 1998, Mr. Brooks and his staff have implemented successful bingo programs, marketing programs, cost reduction programs and operational reporting programs. These programs have resulted in increased revenues, profits and cash flows to the facility's investors, including Border Capital Corp., and have established the St. Mary's Entertainment Center as the most successful licensed gaming facility in New Brunswick.
