The outlook for semiconductors remains upbeat for Taiwan's No. 2 chipmaker, which went ex-rights Wednesday. +++++++++++++++ Taiwan's Mosel Vitelic April Sales +74% At NT$2.15B TAIPEI (Dow Jones)--Mosel Vitelic Inc. (2342.TW) saw sales jump 74% in April to NT$2.15 billion (US$1=NT$30.703) from NT$1.24 billion in the same month a year before, the chipmaker said Wednesday. Accumulated sales for the first four months of the year amounted to NT$9.01 billion, up 76% from NT$5.12 billion during the same period in 1999. Most listed companies are required to disclose their April sales figures by May 10. At 0205 GMT (10:05 p.m. EDT), Mosel's stock was NT$1.00 higher at NT$75.00 on volume of 14.8 million shares.
