Speaking of GottaGettaWilly, did Intel reimburse the mobo manufacturers for the last Rambus fiasco? If not then I can't see them all bending over backwards to stockpile Willy mobos when they might get stuck with a load of dud boards again? Also, Willy 1.4 is due "in 2H" and Willy 1.3 "in 4Q". Now does this mean Willy 1.4 is in 3Q or are Intel playing word games? If it is 3Q then shouldn't we be seeing some indications by now, NDA or not? If systems based on an entirely new core are to be available in 4 months (at the most) then surely they must be under heavy system test at all the OEMs by now? Anyone heard anything yet?
