Even the OT chat thread is kind of dead.

Maybe the volume on the threads follows the volume on the Nasdaq...

Many have left SI. You can tell by the level of postings.

Also, bandwidth can be a problem. My home phone line is way too slow so I either post from the office or don't spend as much time. Cable and DSL roll outs are slow in my neck of the woods.

Add in the weather and you have it.

Hope your not wimping out working out in an air conditioned gym. Ha. Good thing we have air conditioning. Who would work out. Of course running can be tough at lunch time these days.

Tim

Where is everyone on this thread. It's like a ghost town.

Before this inflation deal, we would all eagerly watch for reversals up in the indicators, from low levels. When that happened, we would all hold each others hand during the markets last sell off and jump in together!
We were such geniuses as we watched out stocks and MFs rocket ahead.

Before this inflation deal, we would all watch the market top out, lighten up our holdings, and then stand aside and yawn as the pullbacks took place!

Now we have inflation, which is new to many. We stand back and take notes and observe. The sector BPs seem to be giving good signals but the general market does not seem to have a reliable all clear signal right now.

That's why the thread is quiet IMO.

Dick

Based on the info provided by OX, we now have a way to follow
posting on SI. Next we need to use the Nasdaq as the basis
for the RS for this chart.

Here is a PnF chart of SI postings in the past couple of months.

31000 X O not surprisingly, was also a high on the Nasdaq.

My analysis is - if we don't break down here at 13000 postings,
there is a good chance the market can rally. Combined with
the support area being held on the Nasdaq of course. Duh.
