AL, I dare say each broker will have their own rules and agreements with their customers. Just as each broker sets their own 'concentrated position' or 'risky stock' margin requirements.

For example, here is what my broker told me today: <"...We should be able to move the stock, which will keep it from being "hypothecated" (loaned out to anyone else). However, I believe it will diminish your borrowing purchase power for the time being while it resides in the cash account.">

Hypothecated is a new word to me.

So, get ready to stop hypothecation folks!
