Where Cuba ranked overall would depend on the questions asked in the rankings, and the weight given to each ... seeing that alone would be interesting - like, what is it the makers of the study see as priorities for children.

One thing i did learn from that august journal Granma -g- was that Cuba has a far better infant mortality rate than Washington, DC ... they really do have a lot of doctors, enormous effort has been given to training them .... a couple of friends of mine worked with cubano doctors in a town in RSA for a few years, and liked them a lot ... they all railed against the regime, btw, but not i fear in a way that would please Yogi and robert [Xsquared].

Btw - that was Robert Barry who said two of his children had been aborted.
