lol Sam,

I can't tell you how many times I have lay awake at night and promised myself that starting the next day, I would find a crossover entry on a stock and follow it with 30m bars. I did it once...for about 3 hours. I do use the 30m charts with 5/8 ma's to determine the general trading direction of the stock and then use that info to determine whether I go long on a drop or short on a spike.

One problem I have with the cross-overs, is that at first they are often so close that I question whether they will go or not or if they will whipsaw. I am trying to use MACD and bb bands to aid me in my decision to wait, go long or short. But, as Ken says...simplicity may be the best way. That perhaps would be to flip a coin?
