I agree, but it may also help Bush with the independents, and that, my friend, is the key swing group. Besides, party division is too exploitable. By the way, did you see the Barbara Walters interview of Dubya a few days ago? No earth shattering revelations, but he handled himself well, was articulate, genial, and solid. He is a refreshing change, and even his mildness and boyishness plays in his favor at this point. He reminds one not only of his dad, but of Eisenhower, and that is very steady and reassuring.......
