Frank, I, frankly, don't know if it is true or not but, it would not, in the least, surprise me. Once the 1964 civil rights bill was passed, there seemed to be a flood of tolerance for these kinds of protestors. Some felt that, because of the "mental trauma" of segregation, and perceived cruelty, that it could be expected that these people would release "bottled up" anxieties, and aggressions. I always thought that slavery was a, vicious, crime against humanity, and that segregation was deplorable but, can not see why that could be considered justification for the kind of criminal acts that such people engaged in. Radicals, are radicals, regardless of which side of the fence they may be on, and they are all WRONG!!! IMO. Those people either committed murder, or aided and abetted the crime. All of them should have been punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Hillary's participation was in character for her in those days. A photo has been shown, in the past and before it was suppressed, of her in the front of a circle of radicals burning the American flag. That's what kind of a person she is.Un-American!!!

Bush leads among independent voters by a comfortable sixteen point margin at this point, making them the most significant group of defecting Clinton voters. Nearly half of independents consider Gore to be more liberal than they are, but only a third think Bush is more conservative, which might help explain the attraction...

Bush also leads among young voters - those who look to the future.
