All sailing stories allowed here...we're thinking of putting sails up on our Options Box anyway. After all, it's summer, time to get out on the water. <ggg>

RM and St. Bill,

I liked reading your sailing stories and enjoy the off-hours talk at least as much as the market stuff. Keep it coming.

I see this thread is #1 on the hot list, which tells me we've got a lot of readers. I'd appreciate it if people would participate. I'm no longer answering detailed options questions by PM but would be very happy to do it on the thread.

Greetings from Yankeeland

Soory I haven't responded to your reply. Lightning fried the modem on my computer at the shop and the past few evenings have been very busy.

I do want you to know that I'm not as great a sailor as Leslie seems to believe. Sailed all my life but was never much of a racer. I used to own a Celebrity sloop? Remember those? Sweet little 20' cold-molded plywood and mahogany things. all mahogany on deck and with a (relatively) huge rig. Great fun. Now I've got a beetle cat that I need to repair and get back in the water. It's been sitting in our garage for two years. At least it's out of the weather but every time I look at it I kick myself. Remember Andy Capp? "So many beers, so little time."

In the not too distant future We're going to get down to Annapolis -- see my mom -- who now lives in a codo just outside of town. Maybe we can meet? Have a beer or two at the Maryland Inn -- which long ago now used to have a nasty dirty pub wherein you could throw darts and puke without fear of reprisal. things have change a bit I know. Tlak to you soon. SB
