>I-bonds; Brinker opinion?

I've never heard Bob mention them. The only reference to I-Bonds I've heard on his program was back in January, when a caller asked about them. But the caller wasn't even sure what they were called, let alone what they were, and so if Bob did know about them, he wasn't able to recognize them from the call.

I've been buying them as a portion of my personal, fixed-income allocation for the past 6 months. They're not very good for current income, and TIPS (aka TIIS) are better for tax-sheltered accounts, but I think they're excellent vehicles for a portion of taxable, fixed-income assets.
