<Intereting angle. Nevertheless, this concern should vanish after November, no?>

Technically, January 2001. But the danger should be receding into the fall. I am very concerned about this. This would be a type of event that would wipeout trillions in market cap around the world.

Re: Intereting angle. Nevertheless, this concern should vanish after November, no?

Charles,

This is a tough question to answer.

Personally, I think if the american people as a whole had any common sense GW would be a lock, but unfortunately that is not the case. For examale, the talks of trade relations with china today had "critics" outraged that we would be giving up jobs to China.

Aren't we in such a tight labor situation that Greenspan is about to crush the market?

Anyways, aside from that, I believe that the American people as a whole are very naive, and are capable of of voting in Gore.

Hopefully, that won't happen.
