Or use political wisdom to realize the the Taiwanese don't
want to unite with a communist mainland, and that many of them might not want to unite even if the mainland dropped communism. Taiwan is an independent country and has been for a long time. Its lack of offical recognition by the US or the UN doesn't really change that.
