My first thought was the same as yours. Guess the name could have been more descriptive. And I'm afraid that some of us have given you the wrong idea--you're certainly welcome here. After all, the only difference between us is the fact that many of us believe that someone named Jesus lived, then died, then rose again - and He did it to prove He has power over death and offers us the same "deal". Only "catch" is that we have to believe Him and want His love. I know many today laugh at the "absurdity" of such belief and constantly point out how far we are from being politically correct, but instead of being ashamed of that fact, we're proud of it (happy proud, not nose-in-the-air). So -- hang around, if you ever join us "silly thinkers", it'll be better for you (and for us having a new friend) than those who just won, and will split, 350 million. :-)

Scare, I understand. The opening post does give the indication that you interpreted correctly. Evidently, there were not enough of those that wanted to pray to God about the stock market and, the thread soon became a target for antagonistic, unbelievers to bash Christians. I apologize for my mistaken, snap judgement, that you were one of those. With the understanding of where you are coming from, and you understanding where we are, I would, personally, welcome you here. Contrary to some beliefs, we love to have a good laugh. :^) --haqi
