<<I think you have mistaken SanDisk for some other stock in your portfolio.>>
actually, i'm now out of SNDK.... and, i'm just using Roberston Stephens' estimates from their Apr 20th research report.... if YOUR math shows $0.89 in '00 to $1.10 in '01 is larger than 25% growth, please let me know what calculator you're using!

btw, i've owned SNDK before, and i'll probably own SNDK again.... but at the right price. oh, and i know ML has estimates for '01 at $1.40, which makes it a little more reasonable IF they meet those estimates.... i'm not saying SNDK isn't a great company... i'm just waiting to buy it at a great valuation. oh, and IF this economy is brought to a halt by the fed, how many of those digital cameras will be flying out of the WalMarts? i think not as many as are estimated, as the film cameras will suit just fine until the "average joe" again has excess cash to burn.... but, hey, i've been wrong before. i'm not trying to rain on your parade. i hope it goes to $200 next week. I'd just like to own it around $60 or so.

I just wish the Market would take SNDK down to $10 right now and get it over with.

This Water Torture of 10% down day after day gets old really fast. Why doesn't the Street get it over with in one fell swoop? A $10 stock price sound reasonable to me. After all, the Flash Market is booming, all sorts of small portable devices that require low power and high durability storage are exploding in sales, great cash flow, investments and joint ventures with mega-huge Japanese corps, etc et etc...

you know...all the things that this current Market looks for when taking apart a stock and feeding it to the dogs.
