Mr. Ectomy,

As part of the Windows OS, you can save CPU and RAM when you minimize any application. As far as minimizing bandwidth usage, the only way to do that is by eliminating the multiple QCharts sessions, and possibly substituting 1-2 sessions with using the Workspace Hotkeys (i.e. File - Hotkey Workspaces Setup).

If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Hi, perhaps you already know about this, but there is a "workspace hotkey setup" or something like that under the File menu. You can switch quickly between up to 10 workspaces, within one QCharts session, by hitting Ctrl-<number>.

Since you're asking if you can reduce CPU usage by minimizing workspaces, I assume you're not looking at all 4 at the same time. I've got 10 different workspaces setup and flip between them constantly.

James.
