I think you are right about there always being some dissent. 2 of the songs on the "best" list were on the earlier presented "worst" list.

"Turn the Page" and "Magic Man" both of which I like.

All the best songs are created when you are between 15 - 22, regardless of when you were born. :)

Her husband's list is also interesting, but awfully heavy on music from the mid-70's on, and I've always been of the opinion that almost all of the great rock/pop songs had been created by 1973, and most of the best stuff after that was derivative.
