Sorry, I don't have recent news on that. My news about the price of graphics ASICs is old and second hand, I guess everyone just assumed that the SDR makers were going to eventually transition to DDR. The SDR demand for graphics is going to dry up very quickly in the high-end space for graphics. As we speak. But as long as there is a cost advantage, there will still be some SDR cards.

There should be 32MB and 64MB DDR (even rare 128MB ones for workstation) graphics cards sold, but they will be rare initially. Power gamers and wkstation is still not the bulk of the purchase. But give it about 6 months, and they will slowly migrate down, (but probably not the big memory sizes).
