Re: Whattahell is causing this 3 day old sell off in AMD?

Al and thread,

Hopefully this means it will be short and to the point and then we can recover. I'd rather go down $12 in 3 days than go down $12 in 3 weeks.

comments?

Looks like we're just following the rest of the semi's. Probably a good time to buy July calls.

Irrational exuberance to anal neurosis?

Whattahell is causing this 3 day old sell off in AMD?

Welcome Al,

RE:"Irrational exuberance to anal neurosis?
Whattahell is causing this 3 day old sell off in AMD? "

This is looking more and more like a BEAR market.
For those that haven't experienced one...
1. Rates are generally rising.
2. Stocks get trashed on bad news
3. Stocks sell off on good news.
4. Analysts give out a succession of downgrades (all too late of course)
5. The markets bump and grind until they get a whiff of the last rate hike being in place.
6. This should have been happening last fall at the latest...momentum has carried the markets to a point where the fall is worse than usual in the NASDAQ. The DOW is more like it. Hit 11k over a year ago.
