I believe the analysts/Brokerages are strategically placing downgrades in various sectors so as to ensure a NAs double-bottom
and accomodate the mutual funds. Everytime this market looks like it is going to reverse, some large brokerage downgrades a
strategic peg in the Nasdaq composite. Today it was Motorola, before it was Intel and AT&T etc.

Maybe its not a conspiracy Chief but mearly trying to cover their A$$'s . Most of these stocks have no reason to be treading at the multiples they are at. THe great ponzi scheme works great when it goes up but it hurts a lot of people on the way down. All the analysts were jumping all over each other to make grandiose bullish forcasts only a few months ago so that they could be the next CNBC star GURU. Now are we seeing the beginning of a new trend where they all jump all over each other to be the first to downgrade a stock to look good beside Maria ?

Interesting. I guess you, me, and everyone and their mother for that matter is expecting a hell of a bounce at the 3200 level. Tommorow perhaps?
