Magnatizer,

I hear you on the moving thing, but I am a prisoner to my career. Detroit is a one trick pony and automotive is what I know.

I am green with envy that you can play for such a price and quality.

I live in the surburbs and its not really that tough here. Detroit is bad, but I avoid that for the most part. As for courses we have 158 public ones just in the tri-county area. About 25 of these are excellent and maybe 10 are world class. One of my favorites is a Don Ross tract, but it is now owned by a corp called American Golf. They don't have a clue as to how to run a course and its a real shame. We still play it a couple times a season but early before it becomes backlogged.

We have two courses that anyone who comes to the Detroit area must play. The Majestic at Lake Walden and The Orchards by Robert T Jones. Worth every penny and I try to play them each at least 10 times a season.

Still $20 bucks a pop sounds very nice.

Have a good one.
